Once you post your YouTube video link to Pinterest, more people will be able to find you and all the wonderful things you have on your YouTube channel. Pinterest is a popular social media site that has plenty of loyal followers. Therefore, it’s another avenue for you to promote your YouTube videos and your business.

Posting Your Video Link On Pinterest

The first thing you want to do is select the video that you want to promote and view the video on YouTube, just like you’re going to watch it.

Just below the video itself, you’ll see a button that says “Share”. Of course, for this to work, you have to have a Pinterest account already set up.

Before you click on the “share” button, make sure that you have your Pinterest account open and that you’re signed in.

In the pop-up that opens when you click on the share button, you’ll see a Pinterest logo. There are plenty of other places that you can share your video to, but I usually only share my videos to Pinterest.

Next, you need to select one of your boards that seems the most appropriate for the video that you want to share. If you don’t have an appropriate board, you can just create a new one.

Once you hit that submit button, this pops up on Pinterest:

This is absolutely the easiest way to share your video links on Pinterest. However, there is another way that you can do this using Canva.

Posting A Video Link On Pinterest Using Canva

Open your Canva account and in the search bar, type in Pinterest. You’ll see a number of different options in the drop-down box.

You can select any of those items to create your Pinterest pin.

Now, you want to create a post that has the title of your video and maybe a nice image or element that you’ve selected. With this, you can be as creative as you want or you can just keep it simple.

Once you’re happy with your post design, you just click on “Publish to Pinterest”. Remember that you have to have your Pinterest account open and that you need to be signed in.

At this point, you can add your title, a description that explains what the video is about, and a link to your video on YouTube.

At the very bottom, you can even post a link to your website, if you have one. Once you hit “publish now”, your post will be published to your Pinterest account.
